On Thursday, June 18 the Warsaw Black Coach Pitch team won the championship game in the Midwest Boys Baseball League tournament in LaHarpe, Illinois. The Black Coach Pitch team is coached by Stu Froman, Brandon Grunewald, Ryan Jacquot and Vince Weigand.
The tournament was held June 15-18 in LaHarpe. The Warsaw team played games on Thursday against Stronghurst and Carthage, and then a second game against Stronghurst. They won all three games Thursday evening, and came out as champions in the tournament after beating the undefeated Stronghurst 2 team by a score of 10-8.
