The world’s most livable cities for 2026 have officially been revealed, with Copenhagen earning the top spot for the second consecutive year.
The rankings, compiled annually by the Economist Intelligence Unit, evaluate cities around the world based on five categories: stability, health care, education, infrastructure and culture.
Copenhagen received perfect scores in three areas — stability, infrastructure and education — helping the Danish capital hold onto the number one ranking.
Rounding out the top five cities were:
Copenhagen
Vienna
Melbourne
Sydney
Zurich
The highest-ranked U.S. city on the list was Honolulu, which came in at number 25 overall.
