According to the Hungarian airline’s booking system, Wizz Air will suspend flights from Katowice and Warsaw to Brașov, Romania, for several months starting in late October.

This is the result of major service cuts in Romania by the Hungarian carrier. Wizz Air has recently updated its flight schedule, which shows that Bucharest, Brașov, Suceava, and Timișoara will each lose several routes. The most significant development from the perspective of Polish tourists is the suspension of routes from Brașov to Warsaw-Chopin and Katowice-Pyrzowice. These flights will be suspended at the end of October this year for the entire winter season. When will they resume? Flights from Pyrzowice to Brașov will resume on March 30, 2027, while the route from Warsaw-Chopin to the Transylvanian Highlands will not resume until June 7, 2026.
