A flight from Manchester Airport made an ‘urgent’ diversion amid an incident onboard.
The easyJet flight took off as normal on Tuesday (July 28) to Copenhagen. But shortly after take-off, the flight had to be diverted to Newcastle.
The urgent diversion was made due to a passenger ‘needing urgent medical attention’, easyJet said. The flight was met by emergency services as it landed at Newcastle.

Once the passenger was handed into the car of medics, the flight continued on to Copenhagen. A spokesperson for easyJet said: “Flight EZY2237 from Manchester to Copenhagen yesterday diverted to Newcastle, due to a customer onboard requiring urgent medical attention.
