SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Spendthrift Farm’s Local Knowledge was the least experienced horse in the field, but proved best when edging Solitude Dude narrowly in Friday’s Grade 2, $250,000 Amsterdam, a 6 1/2-furlong sprint for sophomores, at Saratoga Race Course.
