WARSAW, N.C. (WITN) – An investigation is underway after Warsaw police said a weekend shooting might be connected to a shooting spree across two counties in the East.
Warsaw Police Chief Darius Bentley says it happened at 110 East George Street.
There have been no injuries or arrests yet, according to police.
Officials say they will share updates as soon as possible.
WITN has reported at least 10 shootings into occupied homes across Duplin and Sampson counties over several months.
Duplin County Chief Deputy Charles Weaver said those shootings are believed to be connected and potentially gang-related. Several arrests have been made in both counties.
