AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (WNYT) — Amsterdam Police said a traffic stop led to a felony drug arrest and the seizure of cocaine, crack cocaine and cash.

According to police, officers stopped a vehicle Thursday, Aug. 6, on Guy Street and later conducted a consensual search after speaking with the people inside. Police said Hope Faboskay, 35, of Amsterdam, was found with cocaine, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and about $6,840 in cash.

Faboskay was charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Faboskay was arraigned in Amsterdam City Court and released on her own recognizance.
