Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems on Wednesday announced an increase in profit for the second quarter compared to the same period of the previous year.
The company’s bottom line totalled €280 million ($323 million), or €0.28 per share. This compares with €32 million, or €0.03 per share, in the previous year.
The company’s revenue for the period rose 26.1% to €4.723 billion from €3.745 billion last year.
