One of Nike’s best known fashion and lifestyle silhouettes, the Air Force 1 is getting the LEGO treatment following the official reveal of 43026 Nike Air Force 1 x LEGO which is set to be released on 1 September 2026.

It has been a little quiet on the LEGO Nike front following the World Cup, but it looks like sneakers and sports are back on the menu with this release.

This 1,093-piece model lets you build a LEGO model of the Air Force 1, which made its debut in 1982, which is displayed on a mount simulating a rocket blast, set against a moon surface. Like other LEGO Nike sneaker models before this, there’s also a brick-built AF1 logo, and a minifigure included, this time a Space-themed Astronaut performing a zero gravity dunk in space.

43026 LEGO Nike Air Force 1 will be released on 1 September 2026, and will be available from LEGO.com, or your local LEGO Store, as well as Nike.com.

I’m not the biggest Nike sneaker fan, and personally, I’ve always disliked the Air Force 1s, because they looked super chunky. There was also a brief period of time just a few years back, where these were THE trending sneakers to wear, and you absolutely saw them everywhere, with scalpers racing to clear inventory to resell AF1s at a higher price. Those scalpers are all now into Pokemon cards, but that’s a different story.

That said, I do acknowledge the heritage and cultural impact of the Air Force 1s, and can see this one selling really well to Nike fans and sneakerheads, as AF1s are one of the easiest sneakers to wear, mostly because they’re crisp, and white and naturally pair well with a lot of outfits.

The astronaut is pretty cool. I absolutely LOVE that they’ve remixed the Classic Space logo and the Nike Swoosh, and like previous LEGO Nike minifigures, the legs are also printed with the corresponding sneakers. Oh, and the basketball is also printed with the LEGO Nike logo.

The swoosh can also be changed between an orange or silver version.

The 43026 Nike Air Force 1 x LEGO is pretty cool, I guess. One of the nicer LEGO Nike sneakers, and I think on par with Air Max 95 Neons that were released earlier this year.

43026 Nike Air Force 1 x LEGO joins the other LEGO Nike Sneakers, and I’m really liking how this collection is shaping up. Here’s hoping they try out something really cool like give us a pair of Nike Air Mags next. But looking at the silhouettes chosen, we’ll probably get a Cortez next, or maybe they’ll go in a slightly different track, and take on running with a Nike Alphafly.
