The flypast is tied in with the U.S. Independence Day celebrations organised by the U.S. Embassy in Finland.
A Finnish Air Force F/A-18 Hornet fighter conducts a flypast on 13 August above Kaivopuisto Park in Helsinki. The aircraft will fly over Kaivopuisto at 5:45 pm at approximately 300 meters (1000 ft) above ground level. The flight direction is from southeast to northwest.
The flypast will be carried out weather permitting. The published details of flight activities may change for example due to prevailing flight conditions.
