Near Norway’s parliament, demonstrators delivered a message that Ukraine’s supporters are not stepping back, while a Ukrainian officer added personal weight to the gathering.

On August 13, the Ukrainian community in Norway’s capital, together with activists, held a rally in support of Ukraine. Participants gathered in central Oslo to remind people of the need for continued assistance to Ukrainians and the Defense Forces.

The demonstration took place in Eidsvoll Square near the Storting, Norway’s parliament. Information about the event was published by the OsloProtest. Daily until Victory initiative.

Andrii Tkachuk joined the rally in Oslo

Among the participants was Major Andrii Tkachuk of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, co-founder of the volunteer organization “Robymo.” Throughout its work, the organization has provided €10 million in support to the Defense Forces.

In addition to taking part in the rally, Andrii Tkachuk spoke at the Norwegian public policy festival Arendalsuka.

Next rally in support of Ukraine

The organizers have scheduled the next gathering in support of Ukraine for August 14. It is also expected to take place near the Norwegian parliament building in Oslo.
