It was just announced at D23 that The Mandalorian and Grogu will start streaming on Disney Plus on September 2, the same day that the new LEGO Star Wars special, LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian, is supposed to drop on the service too. Well, we now have a full trailer for that too.
You can check it out here:
As previously hinted at, it looks like the new special will be rebuilding the major plot points of all three seasons of The Mandalorian, as well as at least part of The Book of Boba Fett, in LEGO form. It is supposed to play first for fans attending D23 Expo this weekend. Here is the official description:
This is the Way.

On September 2, the Mandalorian and Grogu official companion podcast is also set to launch on the service. Miguel Fernández is a Spanish student that has movies as his second passion in life. His favorite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings, but he is also a huge Star Wars fan. However, fantasy movies are not his only cup of tea, as movies from Scorsese, Fincher, Kubrick or Hitchcock have been an obsession for him since he started to understand the language of filmmaking. He is that guy who will watch a black and white movie, just because it is in black and white.
