Queen Mary of Denmark returned to work this week, marking an end to her summer vacation. Today, Queen Mary visited Momentet, a social-psychiatric facility run by the Deaconess Foundation. “I’m very happy to be back, and I was really looking forward to visiting the courtyards here at Momentet,” she told press (translated from Danish).
For her return to work, the stylish royal looked ahead to fall fashion in a chocolate blazer, wide-legged jeans, and finished her look with a surprising pair of leopard print ballet flats.

With her outing, Queen Mary demonstrates that while cow print was perhaps the shoe of autumn 2025, leopard print should be on our radar for this fall. The shoes pulled her entire look together, adding an unexpected fun pattern. The ballet flats are not Queen Mary’s only leopard print accessory in her wardrobe. She also has worn a pair of stilletto heels in the pattern, and carried a leopard print clutch.
Last week, the Queen was in Aachen, Germany for global equestrian event the FEI World Championships. She went to the opening ceremony alongside Princess Benedikte, Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands, King Felipe’s eldest sister Infanta Elena, and Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Tindall. Mary was later spotted during the tournament with her friends.
