Maersk has announced three blank sailings ahead of China’s Golden Week holiday period.
The carrier expects cargo demand to decline during the holiday. It also anticipates reduced workforce availability for cargo operations.
Maersk said it will introduce structural changes and alternative routings to limit disruption. The measures aim to improve supply chain predictability before, during and after Golden Week.
