On Ukraine’s Independence Day on Aug. 24, world leaders will gather in Kyiv for a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing. NATO will be represented by Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska. European Council President António Costa will also attend the meeting.
The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. Kyiv time and will be held in a hybrid format, with some participants attending in person and others joining online. French President Emmanuel Macron will participate by video conference.
In addition, NV sources in the Presidential Office said former U.S. special envoy for Ukraine Gen. Keith Kellogg and former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence will attend an Independence Day prayer breakfast in Kyiv.
