STOCKHOLM, New York (WWNY) – A St. Lawrence County man was killed Monday morning after a collision between two trucks.
State police were called to County Route 47 in the town of Stockholm at around 7 a.m.
Troopers said a dump truck driven by Gregory Yaddow, 72, of Gouverneur, was driving on Route 47 when he struck a garbage truck parked on the shoulder of the road.
The dump truck left the road and overturned, killing Yaddow. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the garbage truck, Frederick Fraser, 44, and a passenger, Tina Langdon, 57, both of Saint Regis Falls, were unhurt.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
