After a good first half, Kiel’s offense struggles in the second half against a tough Lake Country Lutheran defense. 

The Raider’s started the game down 14 to zero after two touchdown passes from lake Country Lutheran one being 39 yards and the other 3 yards. 

Kiel enters the second half with the ball and down two scores. After marching down the field Kiel’s Brady Kienbaum throws a strike to Mavryk Soucheck for a 10 yard touchdown. 

The following possession LCL would settle for a 38 yard field goal and go up 17 to 7. 

But again the Raider’s would march down and Brady Kienbaum would deliver another passing touchdown. This one being 16 yards to Carter Groh. 

The Raider’s would go into the half down 17 to 14 in the hunt to even up the game. 

However after multiple punts and two rushing touchdowns from LCL the gap would quickly grow to 17 points. 

The fourth quarter would follow the same as both teams struggled to get into the end zone.

At the end of the fourth quarter Lake Country Lutheran would strike again with a 26 yard passing touchdown.

The game would end in a final of Lake Country Lutheran 38 to Kiel 14.

Brady Kienbaum led the team completing 8 of his 13 pass attempts and rushing for 10 more yards.

On the ground Mason Schaefer tallies nine carries for 23 yards while Mason Schmidt leads the air attack with six catches for 51 yards. 

Kiel will return to play this week with a game at home against Berlin.
