LEGO has officially unveiled one of the most anticipated sets of 2026, 21371 Wallace & Gromit, based on Aardman’s beloved claymation characters!

This 1,038-piece model lets you build a stunningly realistic model of Wallace, Gromit and their signature red motorbike that’s the perfect way to commemorate Aardman’s 50th anniversary.

21371 Wallace & Gromit will be the 10th LEGO Ideas set released in 2026, and will be launching globally on 1 October 2026 with pre-orders open now! You’ll be able to find it from LEGO.com or your local LEGO Store.

The set is based on the winning model of the 90s Throwback – The Next Chapter!  challenge, by Pidelium, and I have to say, the LEGO Ideas team have done a remarkable job of staying incredibly faithful to his submission, but adding a lot of polish and fun flourishes to enhance the overall design.

For one thing, both Wallace and Gromit look super expressive, and the LEGO Ideas model also successfully mimics Aardman’s iconic claymation aesthetic with softer curves across all the characters.

The plasticine that Aardman uses for their stop-motion animations translates pretty well as an analogue to LEGO, which is a super versatile (and playful) medium that you can make near-anything out of, making this collaboration between Aardman and The LEGO Group one that just works so well together.

Gromit in particular looks fantastic, and I love that they retained the use of the LEGO magnifying glasses for his goggles, and also incorporated his flappy ears into the model.

I think that LEGO have knocked 21371 Wallace & Gromit out of the park. The model looks phenomenal, it’s priced very decently at US$100 / AU$150 / £90 and if you’re a fan of Wallace & Gromit, you’ll know just how difficult it is to find high quality official merchandise, so this is going to be a fantastic gift or addition to your LEGO collection if you grew up watching Wallace & Gromit.
