The Culture and Welfare Committee invites you to the first staff quiz of the autumn at Union. The winning team will receive fine mugs inscribed with “UiO quiz winners.” Who will manage to defeat the previous winners? Perhaps it will be you and your colleagues?

The Culture and Welfare Committee (in Norwegian Kultur- og velferdsutvalget — KVU) continues the success from last semester with expanded capacity and opening hours for UiO employees who dare to challenge the winning team from the previous UiO quiz.
Employees from across the university gather for an informal and enjoyable quiz spanning faculties, institutes, and units. Several of the strongest teams in the previous quiz were randomly composed of colleagues who arrived on their own, so do not worry about registering without a team.
NB! The quiz will be held in Norwegian. This means that in order to participate, at least one person on your team must speak Norwegian to translate the questions for you.
Wondering whether you have sufficient knowledge to answer the questions from quizmaster Thomas Olafsen (MED)? Check what we asked last time: read in Uniforum (in Norwegian only).
Win the mug you cannot buy
The UiO quiz is meant to be a low-threshold event with a good atmosphere, a light mix of questions, and room for both enthusiasm and laughter. You can arrive with your own team (max 4 people) or be matched with other participants on site. We serve something to eat (limited quantity). Drinks are purchased separately at Union.
All participants on the winning team receive their own exclusive UiO quiz winner mug. — A nice thing to use at lunch at work every day afterwards? The illustration on the mug is taken from the book Centralnervesystemet, a classic in anatomy, and drawn by Alf Brodal.
