Alba Berlin suffered an 84-68 defeat against the Rostock Seawolves in a preseason test at the MBS-Arena in Oranienburg. The physical contest provided another valuable opportunity for the Berlin side to test its progress and identify areas that still need improvement.
Joe Weskamp led Alba’s scoring with 15 points, while Malte Delow added 10. Rostock, meanwhile, was paced by an outstanding performance from Artur Konontsuk, who finished with a game-high 24 points. T.J. Crockett Jr. contributed 18, while Todd Withers added 11 for the Seawolves.
For Alba the final major test of the preseason awaits next week in Spain.
