On February 27, the Ukrainian national basketball team will play in Riga against Spain in a nominally home match of the first round of the 2027 World Cup qualifiers.

According to the Ukrainian Basketball Federation, our players enter the game with two wins in the first window of the qualifying tournament – over Georgia and Denmark. The Spaniards also won both of their matches against the Georgian and Danish national teams, having the same record.

Note that during the second game window of the 2027 World Cup qualifiers, the Ukrainians will also play a match against Spain. The game is scheduled for March 2 in Oviedo.
