AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (WNYT) – State Police said troopers chased a vehicle that fled from a traffic stop in Amsterdam over multiple counties before terminating the pursuit.
It began at around 9:11 p.m. on Tuesday. A trooper tried to stop a speeding vehicle traveling on Route 5, police said. The vehicle initially slowed and pulled to the right shoulder, but then sped away.
The trooper followed the vehicle onto Truax Road, Route 67, Route 147 and then onto West Glenville Road, according to investigators.
At that point, the trooper lost contact with the vehicle and ended the case.
No one was hurt and there was no property damage. Police have not made any arrests.
