In case you missed it, fashion month is officially in full swing. After kicking off in Copenhagen, the international circuit moved on to a very snowy Berlin. Braving the cold and icy streets of Berlin Fashion Week, we headed to Funkhaus—a historic music and broadcasting centre—for one of the week’s most anticipated runway moments: Marc Cain’s autumn/winter ’26 show.
Ahead of the event, the brand revealed its intention to merge fashion, music, and staging, promising a multi-sensory experience closely aligned with Berlin’s creative pulse.
Titled ‘Echo of Now’, the collection spotlighted pieces designed to transcend the moment and leave a lasting impression, signalling a confident shift toward longevity rather than bolder trends the brand has explored in the past. The opening sequence saw models step onto a blue-carpeted runway, where soft white knitwear stood in sharp contrast to the floor, immediately establishing the collection’s interplay between boldness and refinement.
Colour unfolded gradually throughout the show. Early looks leaned into comforting greys paired with soft pinks before evolving into electrifying combinations and warm, earthy tones that added visual depth. The overall message was clear: maximalism is far from over – at least not in Marc Cain’s world.

Texture proved equally persuasive. Cosy faux furs appeared in unexpected shades of neon orange and electric pink, channelling a confident Seventies spirit, while leather and suede grounded the lineup with a distinctly modern Berlin edge. Elsewhere, vibrant colours and unique prints reinforced the brand’s commitment to expressive yet wearable design.

As always, Marc Cain’s signature animal print ran as a subtle thread throughout the collection, with classic leopard reimagined through irregular spots and varied scales – familiar, yet refreshingly updated.

Model icon Jerry Hall attended alongside her daughter Elizabeth Jagger, joined by actor Kelly Rutherford on the front row. Their presence underscored the label’s broad appeal: glamorous yet accessible, polished yet eminently wearable.
Beyond the individual show, the moment also spoke to Berlin Fashion Week’s growing momentum. Recent seasons have highlighted the event’s international expansion and creative development, reinforcing the German capital’s position as an increasingly influential fashion hub. Within that context, Marc Cain’s latest outing felt particularly assured – a collection balancing commercial clarity with expressive styling.
Ultimately, ‘Echo of Now’ captured a mood many brands are chasing: clothes that resonate emotionally while remaining grounded in real wardrobes. It was less about spectacle for spectacle’s sake and more about designing for the present moment, with enough personality to linger long after the final walk.
