Following a successful world premiere at Bricktastic, a massive LEGO fan event at Manchester, you can now stream the Building the LEGO Dream documentary online on LEGO.com now!

The 46-minute documentary follows five people from different walks of life and different corners of the planet and talk about their journeys to becoming a LEGO Designer, to many, the dream job for any lifelong LEGO fan.

The documentary directed by Emmy-award winning documentary storyteller Ethan Vincent focuses on 5 LEGO designers who all have something in common, they were all LEGO Ideas fan designers who got their projects approved by LEGO before working their way to moving to Billund, Denmark to become a LEGO designer.

You may know some of them, or have some of their LEGO Ideas sets in your collection:

I’ve followed the journey of many of these fan designers and am proud to have personally reviewed many of their sets, so I’m really looking forward to checking this documentary out!

If you’re looking for some high quality LEGO content to consume this weekend, you can stream Building the LEGO Dream documentary online for free right now! Unfortunately, the film isn’t on Youtube or any other streaming platform yet, but if you have a Chromecast-enabled smart TV, you should be able to cast it on a larger screen to watch it.
