RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Give back this holiday season at the Children’s Museum of Richmond – Chesterfield during the annual Build to Give event.
The LEGO Group has partnered with the Children’s Museum to support this initiative, which aims to bring the joy of play to children who need it most through donations to charitable partners, including hospitals, care homes, and vulnerable communities.
Since its launch in 2017, the Build to Give program has reached over 11.2 million children, and that number continues to grow. Friends and families are invited to the Children’s Museum of Richmond–Chesterfield in Midlothian on Saturday, December 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a free day of hands-on play, where participants can build hearts made of LEGO® bricks. When these creations are shared on social media with the hashtag #BuildToGive, the LEGO Group will donate LEGO sets to children around the world.
The LEGO Group is dedicated to making learning through play accessible to children everywhere. The Build to Give program transforms creativity into meaningful impact by delivering LEGO sets to children globally. This local event also highlights the LEGO Group’s growing investment in the Greater Richmond region as work progresses on the new LEGO Manufacturing Virginia facility.
