The Italian ambassador to Poland, Luca Franchetti Pardo, hosted a working breakfast at his residence in Warsaw dedicated to collaboration between the Italian nuclear supply chain and the main Polish institutional and industrial players involved in the implementation of the national nuclear program. The initiative, organized in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Poland (Cciip), brought together qualified representatives of the Italian supply chain—including Ain, Aipe, Anima Confindustria, Enea, Ansaldo Nucleare, Walter Tosto, and Cirten – together with key representatives of the Polish government, including representatives of Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe (PEJ) – the public company that owns the future power plant and is responsible for implementing the program – and Igeios, the sectoral branch of the Polish Chamber of Energy and Environmental Protection, which coordinates and represents the national industrial supply chain.
The meeting focused on the requirements of the Polish nuclear program and opportunities for Italian-Polish industrial and technological synergy. In his speech, Ambassador Franchetti Pardo stressed that “Poland has entered a decisive phase of its nuclear program, so Italian companies would like not only to offer technological excellence, but also to integrate themselves permanently into the Polish system through industrial partnerships, skills transfer, and long-term cooperation.” Particular attention was paid to academic cooperation and training as a structural lever for strengthening the Polish nuclear ecosystem and consolidating a credible and lasting Italian presence.
