Gjensidige notes the recent ruling by the Danish Supreme Court concerninghistorical pricing practices in the insurance market, in which Tryg prevailed.
Based on the Supreme Court’s ruling, Gjensidige has reassessed the accountingprovision made in the first quarter of 2024. The company has concluded thatthebasis for the provision is no longer present and will therefore reverse theprovision of DKK 80.0 million in the first quarter of 2026.
Gjensidige considers the Supreme Court’s ruling to provide clarity in thematterand does not expect the case to have further implications for the company.
