In the early hours of Sunday in Oslo, an explosion occurred near the U.S. Embassy. According to Norwegian police, the incident caused minor damage and did not result in injuries among civilians or embassy staff.
A loud explosion was heard near the embassy grounds in the western part of the city around 1:00 a.m., and smoke rose from the surrounding area, witnesses say, local media reported.
