Ukrainian skaters Iryna Pidhayna and Artem Koval won bronze medals for Ukraine at the World Junior Figure Skating Championships held in Tallinn, Estonia.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian Figure Skating Federation, in the Rhythm Dance they finished third, and in the Free Dance – second, giving the duo a high overall score.
The team impressed spectators with their ease, dynamism, and technical precision.
The routine, created by their coach Halyna Churilova together with renowned Ukrainian dancers Oleksandra Nazarova and Maksim Nikitin, was performed to music from the Moulin Rouge! musical.

The judges recorded a total score of 98.87 points. In the combined total for the two performances, the pair amassed 164.32 points – the best result of the current season.
Seventeen-year-old Iryna Pidhayna and twenty-one-year-old Artem Koval began their athletic careers in Odesa at the SDYUSSHOR “Kryzhinka.” Now they represent the Kharkiv School of Higher Sports Mastery and the Kharkiv Olympic Training Center for winter sports.
Since 2022, due to the full-scale war, the skaters have trained in Vienna, Austria. During 2025 and in early 2026 they have achieved significant progress: seven junior international wins and bronze in the Junior Grand Prix Final. At the previous Junior World Championships they finished fourth.

As a result, the Ukrainian team took two medals at the World Junior Championships in Tallinn. Earlier, the bronze medal was also won by the pair Ivan Hobta and Hanna Herrera.
