Warsaw Police Department seeks suspects in restroom vandalism

  • 2026-03-09

WARSAW, Mo. — The city of Warsaw is searching for those involved in a string of continued vandalism.

The city posted on Facebook last week that vandals had targeted the new restrooms at Drake Harbor. Among other issues, such as derogatory wording written on stalls, photos of the bathroom show paper towels shoved in sinks.

The vandalism is part of the “devious lick” TikTok trend, which encourages kids to record themselves stealing or vandalizing property and posting it online. The trend has prompted the city to lock the bathrooms during slower hours.

City officials say they plan to pursue charges in efforts to help the community feel safe.

Anyone with tips on the recent vandalism issues at Drake Harbor or others around the city should contact the City of Warsaw office or its police department.
