WARSAW, Ind. (WNDU) – A Warsaw man is in critical condition after police said he was hit by a vehicle late Saturday night.
According to police, the incident happened around 10 p.m. on Fort Wayne Street east of Detroit Street.
Police said a 58-year-old man was walking north across Fort Wayne Street when he was hit by a 63-year-old Warsaw man who was turning east onto Fort Wayne Street from Detroit Street.
The pedestrian was left unconscious and was taken to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Fatal Team is handling the investigation due to the severity of the incident.
