The incident happened when the plane was taxiing off the runway. Passengers were not hurt and disembarked from the plane. The runway has been closed temporarily, at least until 5 p.m.
According to Lithuanian Airports (LTOU), LOT Polish Airlines plane flew from Warsaw and landed in Vilnius at 1:34 p.m.
Public broadcaster LRT reports that Embraer E170STD, flight LO771, was involved in the incident.
