Spring has officially arrived in the capital — and London Eye is celebrating in spectacular style. From 27 March to 4 May, one of London’s most iconic attractions is transforming its famous pods into immersive, flower-filled sanctuaries, offering visitors a completely new way to experience the city in bloom.

A Spring Takeover Above the Thames

Rising 135 metres above the River Thames, the London Eye’s capsules have been reimagined as vibrant seasonal escapes. Inspired by some of the capital’s most picturesque spring sights — from cherry blossoms near St Paul’s Cathedral to the cascading wisteria-lined streets of Notting Hill — each pod immerses guests in colour, scent and sound.

This limited-time experience isn’t just visual. Carefully curated soundscapes and delicate seasonal fragrances enhance the journey, turning a classic sightseeing ride into a multi-sensory celebration of spring in London.

Spring Afternoon Tea — With a View

For those wanting to elevate the experience even further, a limited-edition Spring Afternoon Tea is now available inside the pods. This seasonal twist on a British classic features:

Hand-crafted spring patisserie

Traditional finger sandwiches

Fine teas

Sweet treats including fresh berries and spring-themed cupcakes

It’s a unique way to enjoy one of the UK’s most beloved traditions while taking in panoramic views of London’s skyline in full bloom.

Get Creative with LEGO Botanicals

In partnership with The LEGO Group, visitors can also take part in a brand-new interactive LEGO Botanicals experience. Guests will enjoy priority boarding before stepping into a pod where they can build their own floral arrangement using the LEGO Botanicals Daisies set (11508).

The hands-on activity offers a creative, memorable keepsake — perfect for celebrating the season while overlooking London’s parks as they burst back into life below.
