A decisive weekend awaits at Holmenkollen, where Ukraine aims to solidify its World Cup standing amid strong rivals.

In Norway, at the Holmenkollen Stadium, from March 19 to 22, the final stage of the current Biathlon World Cup season 2025/26 will take place, the ninth competition of the year.

The first day of the program will begin with the women’s sprint over 7.5 km, the start scheduled for 17:15 Kyiv time.

Ukraine will be represented at the tournament by Kristina Dmitrenko (35th start number), Oleksandra Merkushina (51), Anastasia Merkushina (74), Daryna Chalyk (77), Olena Horodna (82), and Yulia Dzima (85).

The men’s sprint over 10 km will take place on March 20, also at 17:15.

On March 21, pursuit races will be held – the women’s 10 km at 14:45 and the men’s 12.5 km at 17:15.

Schedule of the Final Stage

On March 22 the program will be concluded with mass starts: the women’s 12.5 km race will begin at 14:45, the men’s 15 km at 17:15.

It is also known that Anastasia Merkushina won gold at the 2026 European Biathlon Championship in the individual race.

Thus, Ukraine intends to continue the fight in the final stage of the season and solidify its positions in the World Cup overall standings.
