The rapidly growing alcohol-free and mid-strength drinks sector will gather in Amsterdam this spring as brands, buyers and industry leaders come together for the No, Low & Mid-Strength Summit on Tuesday 21 April.

Hosted by Club Soda in association with PB Creative, the summit will take place at the Lowlander Beer Hall in Amsterdam, bringing together producers, distributors, retailers and suppliers from across Europe and beyond to explore the future of these emerging drinks categories.

It is a great opportunity for brands already producing alcohol-free or mid-strength drinks, as well as those considering entering the sector. The event offers a rare opportunity to understand the European market, connect with potential partners and learn from some of the leading figures shaping the space.

One of the most valuable parts of the summit will be a programme of more than 300 pre-arranged buyer and distributor meetings, giving brands direct access to retailers, wholesalers and route-to-market partners who are actively expanding their no, low and mid-strength ranges across Europe.

Alongside these meetings, the summit will feature a packed programme of talks, panels and practical sessions covering topics such as investment in the category, working with distributors, approaching retail buyers and building credibility in the on-trade.

The event will open with Dan Gasper, ex-founder of Distill Ventures, exploring the challenges for the sector and how ignoring this category presents a growing strategic risk for global brands. Carl Héline, one of the key figures behind the rise of French Bloom 0.0%, will discuss how super-premium alcohol-free products can build credibility and desirability, while Claire Warner will share insights on where the next phase of category growth may come from. There will be useful data and advice on how to grow your brand.

The summit will also include a mini-summit dedicated to alcohol-free wine, exploring the challenges and opportunities facing one of the most technically complex and fast-evolving parts of the sector.

Delegates will also gather for a summit dinner at the iconic REM restaurant, creating further opportunities for networking between brands, buyers and industry leaders.

Laura Willoughby MBE, the founder of Club Soda, says the event is designed to help the whole sector move forward together.

“It’s an amazing chance for brands from around the world to meet European buyers and distributors and, more importantly, meet and learn from brands of all sizes working in this space. It’s an amazing agenda packed with everyone who is at the forefront of the no, low and mid-strength sector – it’s going to be a great event.”
