The tense scenes were recorded on Wednesday morning at a metro station in Brussels, where a man with suspected psychological problems jumped onto the tracks, endangering his life and causing panic among passengers. According to reports from RTL Info, the incident took place at the “Comte de Flandre” station. In the footage that has been circulating online, the man is seen jumping onto the metro lines and lying on them, while the situation becomes critical due to the approach of the train.
A passenger immediately reacted by getting down on the tracks to help him, but was forced to return to the platform when he realized the train was approaching rapidly.
Meanwhile, other passengers began to shout and signal to the driver, who managed to brake in time, averting a possible tragedy. The man was pulled off the tracks with the help of several bystanders and then transported to the hospital by the fire department. His condition is not known.
