Brazil’s Belov Engenharia has signed eight contracts with Petrobras to charter four diving support vessels (DSVs) and provide shallow-diving and ROV operations.
According to the company, the contracts will begin between the second half of 2026 and the second half of 2027. The contracts are worth 2.7bn reais ($521.3m) and will be executed over four years.
The vessels will be used for inspection and maintenance services on Petrobras’ offshore platforms.
Belov already has three DSV vessels on charter with Petrobras – Belov Humaitá, Belov Amaralina, and Cidade Ouro Preto.
Before the contracts begin, one more vessel, the Belov Arembepe, will be needed. It is currently under construction at Belov’s shipyard in Bahia and is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2027.
