BERLIN, N.H. —
A man is facing several felony charges in connection with shootings at local businesses and vehicles in recent months in Berlin, police announced Monday.
Richard Devoid, 67, of Gorham, faces 10 felony counts of reckless conduct with a firearm. Additional charges are expected, police said.
Police said the charges are directly linked to a series of shootings that targeted businesses and vehicles in the city in the past several months.

Devoid was taken into custody last Thursday without incident after what police said was a “lengthy investigation.” Berlin police said they were assisted by Gorham police, Colebrook police and the Coos County Sheriff’s Office.
Devoid is scheduled to appear in court later this week for a probable cause hearing. Until the hearing, he’s being held on preventative detention, police said.
Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to contact Detective Lt. Wade Goulet at 603-752-3131, extension 120.
