the certifications, energy solutions, and technologies implemented in The Bridge.
Visa’s hub new office in central Warsaw
Visa will soon begin operations in The Bridge, a 54,000 sqm office complex that combines the historic Bellona Publishing House with a 174-metre modern tower. Other tenants of the building include Santander Bank Polska, Astellas, The French Institute, and Grant Thornton.
– In a mature office market, tenants look for projects with a remarkable identity – ones that support the way an organization operates, its culture, employer branding, and that also encourage employees to come to the office more willingly. In this context, Visa’s choice of The Bridge is very natural: a global scale technology company has selected a project that stands out for its technological advancement, high environmental standards and the additional amenities offered to employees by European Square and its surroundings. We are delighted that Visa will conduct its operations in Poland in our building – says Jarosław Zagórski, Managing Director at Ghelamco Poland.
Environmental and technological standards
The Bridge holds SmartScore and WiredScore certifications at the Platinum level and meets the Green Building Standard. In the coming months, the building is expected to receive top ratings for WELL, WELL Health and Safety, BREEAM, DGNB, and Building Without Barriers certifications. The complex will be energy neutral and powered by renewable energy, including electricity from photovoltaic farms.
Innovations supporting employees and building operations
The building features a BEMS energy management system, a vacuum drainage system to reduce water consumption, and property technology solutions from Signal OS, enabling:
Touchless access and workspace reservations via mobile apps,
Virtual reception and guest management,
Bicycle infrastructure with parking for 160 bikes, showers, and ramps,
Electric vehicle and bike charging stations,
Air quality and hygiene solutions, including UV lamps in elevators and ventilation systems.
The project was designed by UNStudio in cooperation with Polsko-Belgijska Pracownia Architektury PROJEKT.
