The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed that multiple tornadoes touched down across southeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin on Friday.

Officials said that over 100 homes were damaged, but so far, only one person sustained minor injuries in Iowa.

NWS La Crosse added that they issued 26 tornado warnings, the most for one day since 1995.

The agency noted that eight tornadoes touched down Friday afternoon:

EF0 in Sargeant-Oslo, Minn. from 1:46-1:49 p.m.EF0 in Oslo, Minn. from 1:53-2:02 p.m.EF2 in Stewartville-Marion Township, Minn. from 2:17-2:31 p.m.EF1 in Potsdam, Minn. from 2:30-2:54 p.m.EF2 in Viola-Plainview, Minn. from 2:46-3 p.mEF3 in Cream, Wis., from 3:27-3:43 p.m.EF1 in Blair, Wis., from 4:08-4:17 p.m.EF1 in Requa, Wis., from 4:19-4:24 p.m.

5 EYEWTINESS NEWS had crews near Rochester on Friday and Saturday, and saw multiple homes and trees damaged.
