Summer also brings a few new releases for LEGO Technic fans, though they’re largely (but thankfully not exclusively) Technic models of various vehicles. We now have the official images for two of these vehicles – the Fast and Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse and the Fast and Furious Dodge Charger R/T – so we’re excited to present these sets to you here.
The images of both LEGO Technic June 2026 new releases come from Greek LEGO retailer public.gr, where many new sets have appeared. This gives us two of the four total Technic new releases scheduled to launch in June, now with official images. Unfortunately, we’re still missing images for two retailer-exclusive sets – including the Mercedes-Benz Unimog U 5023 with Crane (42242), which happens to be a set that appeals to classic LEGO Technic fans with its pneumatic components, a group that has been extremely sparsely served with interesting new sets in recent years.

LEGO 42229 Fast and Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse Car
With the green 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse from the first “The Fast and the Furious” film from 2001, this car driven by Brian O’Conner is finally getting its first treatment as a LEGO set. The vehicle is only driven in the movie’s first race by the protagonist played by Paul Walker, before being blown up during the course of the film and later replaced by the already-familiar Toyota Supra.
The LEGO Technic 42229 Fast and Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse Car consists of 827 pieces and will be available at retailers starting in June with an RRP of $64.99 / €64.99.

LEGO 42231 Fast and Furious Dodge Charger R/T Car
The Dodge Charger R/T is now the second variant to be implemented in LEGO Technic, after “Dom’s Dodge Charger” under set number 42111 was available in LEGO’s lineup as a Technic car from 2020 through the end of 2023 – back then consisting of 1077 pieces for $119.99. The new version consists of 1516 pieces and will be available everywhere starting in June with an RRP of $149.99 / €149.99.

LEGO 42242 Mercedes-Benz Unimog U 5023 with Crane
There are also no (official) images yet of the LEGO Technic Mercedes-Benz Unimog U 5023 with Crane, though many details about the set are already known. This set is a comparatively “classic” LEGO Technic set, as it shows the Unimog U 5023 in lime green with a red crane arm equipped with pneumatic functions. We assume this will be a retailer-exclusive set. Unfortunately, the price for this set is not yet known.
