Sheriff Jeffery T. Smith said the arrests followed a joint investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Amsterdam Police Department. According to a release, Robert Gebhard, Ryan Gebhard and Matthew Siller were each charged with four counts of Third-Degree Criminal Mischief.

The charges stem from a series of reported cases where the men are accused of intentionally damaging property at multiple locations in the Village of Hagaman and Town of Amsterdam by firing BB guns from their vehicles, the sheriff’s office said. Authorities said the damage led to significant financial loss.

All three men were taken into custody and processed on the charges. They are scheduled to appear in Amsterdam Town Court at a later date.
