Maersk is advancing plans to transform Da Nang into a major logistics hub in Southeast Asia through its involvement in the development of the Lien Chieu container port.
The new port project is expected to be operational and ready to receive ships within approximately 30 months, according to reports.
Maersk CEO Vincent Clerc emphasized that the initiative goes beyond building port infrastructure.
