One of Europe’s most popular cafes is planting roots in Texas. Joe & The Juice is making its Lone Star State debut with a new location in Houston. The popular Danish-based café and juice bar concept will be one one of four new dining and retail tenants coming to Uptown Park shopping center, along with a new elevated sports bar and restaurant called Uptown Sporting Club with shareable bites and craft cocktails.
“The addition of Design Within Reach, Lazzoni, and first-to-Texas concepts like Joe & The Juice reflects EDENS’ commitment to curating a distinctive, globally inspired mix of retail and dining,” said Brandon Schawe, director of leasing for EDENS. “Uptown Park continues to evolve in ways that elevate the guest experience to meet Houston’s appetite for world-class design, hospitality and culture.”
Once open, Joe & The Juice’s space will have both indoor and outdoor seating with a “focus on social interaction in an edgy, modern environment.” Official opening dates for the cafe known for its craft coffees, juices, acai bowls and other clean eats, along with the new sports bar, have yet to be announced but a news release shared with Chron said the new concepts are slated to open later this year.
