A popular Money Heist spin-off show is set to make its anticipated return on Netflix next week. The new Berlin Season 2 trailer is out now, showcasing what fans can expect from the high-octane series. Apart from a fan-favorite character’s return from the original show, there’s a lot more to get excited about.

What do we see in the Berlin Season 2 trailer?

Berlin Season 2, which is titled Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine, begins streaming on Friday, May 15, 2026. Berlin Season 2 trailer features the story set in Seville this time. We see Berlin (Pedro Alonso) and Damián (Tristán Ulloa) coming together for a massive heist. Plan? To steal Leonardo Da Vinci’s classic painting, The Lady With an Ermine.

Per the official synopsis, the gang gets hired by the Duke of Málaga. He and his wife believe they can actually blackmail Berlin. However, it may turn out to be their biggest mistake. As for the characters, all core members of the Paris heist are back, including Begoña Vargas as Cameron, Michelle Jenner as Keila, Julio Peña Fernández as Roi, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce.

There are several fresh faces as well, including Inma Cuesta. Meanwhile, José Luis García-Pérez and Marta Nieto are playing the main antagonists: the Duke and Duchess of Málaga.

The series will have eight episodes, and they will all be available to stream on the same day of release. During a Netflix interview recently, the creator of Money Heist and co-creator of Berlin, Álex Pina, revealed what the fans can expect from the second season. “It’s a trip through the golden age of the character, when he robbed around Europe, crazy in love.”

The first season was released in December 2023 and quickly climbed to the top of Netflix’s charts. Per What’s on Netflix‘s data, the prequel amassed more than 11.3 million CVEs (Complete Viewing Equivalent) within just three days. Critically, too, it fared well while earning a solid 70% Tomatometer on review-aggregating website Rotten Tomatoes.
