This summer, LEGO Pokémon continues and the Tiger Pokémon Arcanine is showing itself first. An image of the “Arcanine” display set has surfaced, which we naturally want to show you and which gives a preview of what to expect in August.
After the LEGO summer new releases from other themes have almost all been revealed, we’re currently waiting eagerly for the next additions to the still-fresh LEGO Pokémon theme, which celebrated its debut in February with sets including the LEGO Pokémon starter set. Thanks to the Belgian shop Maximus.be, we now have at least a first image of Arcanine.
LEGO Arcanine Pokémon
Arcanine carries Pokédex number #059 and will appear on August 1, 2026 as a LEGO Pokémon set with set number 72160. The tiger-colored feline will cost an RRP $99.99 / €99.99 and will be built from a total of 1190 pieces primarily in Orange, Black and Tan. Contrary to previous information, the first image confirms that this is an 18+ set and thus expands the existing collection of display pieces, like the LEGO 72151 Eevee and LEGO 72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball.
Currently there’s only this one view of the set box, on which you can already see the legendary Poké-Monster quite well. The original has been captured well in size and besides many built details, some printed elements can also be seen. LEGO states that the head, ears and legs of Arcanine are movable.

The head uses printed tiles as eyes for Arcanine and the teeth are built from 1 × 1 Cheese Slope Corners in White. The pointy ears appear to be a new part! The stripes on the body are achieved using brick-built techniques, while the legs apparently use printed 2 × 3 tiles.
