The Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly is scheduled to take place at the Seimas (the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania) in Vilnius from May 29 to June 1, 2026. Media representatives planning to cover this international event must follow specific accreditation procedures to gain access to the parliamentary venues.

Journalists who already hold permanent accreditation with the Seimas or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania will be granted access to the session following standard procedures. However, organizers request that these representatives notify the Press Office of their planned attendance by completing a specific registration form. This ensures they receive timely updates and relevant session information via email. During the events, accreditation badges must be worn prominently at all times.

This session arrives at a time when regional security cooperation among Baltic and Nordic nations is a high priority, and a significant turnout from international media is expected.

Media representatives who do not hold long-term accreditation with the Lithuanian Parliament must apply for special accreditation. The registration window is strictly limited:

Opening Date: May 15
Closing Date: May 22 at 6:00 PM (EEST / 5:00 PM CEST).

It is important to note that one-day passes will not be issued during the session, and late applications will not be processed. In accordance with NATO Parliamentary Assembly regulations, special accreditation is only available to media representatives from countries whose delegations have been invited to participate in the session.

Special accreditation badges can be collected starting at 8:00 AM from May 30 to June 1 at the registration desk located at the entrance of Seimas Building III (Seimo III rūmai). To enter the venue, journalists must present their accreditation badge alongside a valid press ID containing a photo.
