DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Law enforcement agencies across Duplin County are investigating three shootings into occupied homes over the past three days.
Duplin County deputies say they were called to the first shooting near Warsaw around 2 a.m. Saturday after multiple shots were fired into a home.
Around 2 a.m. Sunday, deputies went to another shooting near Beulaville after several shots were again fired into a home.
Later that night, around 10 p.m., Wallace police were called to a third shooting into a home on North College Street.
Duplin County deputies, Wallace police, Warsaw police, Beulaville police, and SBI agents are investigating to figure out if the shootings are connected.
