
Artistic director Tricia Tuttle’s second Berlinale lineup features a cavalcade of world and international premieres — including several films arriving fresh from their premieres at Sundance. The festival runs February 12-22.

22 films are set to play in the main Competition section, including new films from Kornel Mundruczo, Ilker Catak, Emin Alper, Angela Schanelec, Karim Ainouz, Warwick Thornton, Anthony Chen and Hanna Bergholm.

Nine of the competition films are directed or co-directed by women, up from eight last year and six two years ago.
There are 13 titles in Perspectives, 11 of which are world premieres including two UK titles; Ashley Walters’ directorial debut Animol, and Dara Van Dusen’s A Prayer For The Dying, starring Johnny Flynn and John C. Reilly.
