The Avicii Experience continues to draw fans to Stockholm. A new walkthrough video shared online offers a fresh look inside the immersive tribute museum dedicated to the late Tim Bergling. Plus, the clip captures the depth of an exhibition designed to honour one of dance music’s most influential voices.
The Avicii Experience is located at Sergels Torg in central Stockholm. The interactive museum takes visitors on a journey through Tim Bergling’s life and musical career, with rooms that range from his teenage bedroom recreation to a faithfully detailed replica of his Los Angeles home studio. Each section of the walkthrough is themed around lyrics from his catalogue. Words like “ALWAYS”, “FEEL”, “WITH”, “WIND”, “WILD”, “DARKNESS” and “ONE” trail through the rooms, pulled directly from his most beloved tracks. The visual design fits the emotional arc of his music perfectly.
Interactive elements form a major part of the visit. Visitors can sing on VR karaoke, perform in front of tens of thousands of virtual screaming fans, and even try the role of DJ at a mock decks setup. Plus, there is a station that lets fans create their own version of ‘Levels’ by mixing Kick, Clap, HiHat, Bass, Chords, Synths, FX and Vocals stems.
The museum also displays unreleased music alongside archival material from his career. Listening rooms and contact sheets from photo shoots run throughout the space. The ‘True’ album cover sits in a dedicated room with a misty blue lighting treatment, while the ‘Stories’ era is set in graffiti-soaked walls reflecting the album’s freer, looser identity. Beyond the immersive design, the Avicii Experience also displays the famous Steinway piano from his Los Angeles home. The piece arrived at the museum earlier this year, joining the LA studio recreation that captures his late-career setup.
For visitors, the experience feels less like a traditional music museum and more like stepping into the inner world of an artist. Plus, it lands as a fitting tribute to a producer whose music continues to shape dance music culture seven years after his passing. The Avicii Experience is open daily at Sergels Torg, Stockholm.
